Wills and Trusts
Many people find the prospect of making a will quite daunting: either because they don't want to think about the inevitable or because it all seems too complicated.
So when is the best time to make a will? People tend to make a will when they buy a house or there has been some other material change in circumstances. Marriage or re-marriage automatically revokes any earlier will you may have made, so it's essential you make a new one then. Remember too that if you die without a will (also known as 'intestate'), your estate may end up going to the treasury rather than your nearest and dearest or your favourite good cause - so make a will sooner rather than later.
Our specialists will take you through the whole process, explaining everything in plain English so that you know exactly what you are doing and why. Experts here will advise you how to reduce the level of inheritance tax legitimately on your estate or even avoid paying tax altogether.
